We are Jeff and Carol Badgero with Hope Missions and have had the opportunity to be a visiting preacher to Beaver Island Christian Church for a few years now. 

We have been Missionaries for 39 years.  Most of our time has been in Haiti. I was last there February of 2024. We have also had the privilege to serve in Cuba, Malaysia, India, Liberia Africa and April of 2024 I was in Uganda  Africa.

We have learned a lot of things along the way.  Most people don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care.  We believe strongly in working with local people, helping the people to help themselves.

Projects that have been a blessing to others are: Fish ponds, water wells, gardens and teaching young men construction principles. We believe people need a hand up not a hand out. 

We mostly enjoy teaching the scriptures and helping people come to a closer relationship with Christ and to have HOPE and Faith.
