Last week we learned that God’s apparent inactivity may be His way of showing compassion to protect us; that the best way to approach God is as an inquirer not as an accuser; that God may choose not to act in order to give us time to acknowledge our sin or seek Him; that sometimes God might lead us into hardship to humble us, test us, or determine whether or not we will depend on Him; and that Jesus can empathize with our pain because of His humanity.   

This week we will answer the question “God, are you fair?”  To prepare read Matthew 20:1-7, Leviticus 10:1-3, Hebrews 8:12, and Luke 18:2-5.
