Last week we discussed the third aspect of gentleness which is teachability. A precious part of gentleness is being willing and anxious to learn, regardless of who He chooses as our unlikely teacher.   

This week we will consider the final component of the fruit of the Spirit which is self-control.  Only through the self-control developed by the Spirit can we ever fulfill the promise of Jesus found in John 8:32. To prepare, read Acts 24:22-27, 1 Cor 6:12, and Nehemiah 2:1-20.
