Last week we learned that Jehovah is “I AM WHO I AM” the name most commonly used in the Old Testament.   This week we will discuss Jehovah’s nature and character.  To prepare read Genesis 2:7-22, John 8:58-59, Exodus 33:7-11, Mark 10:13-15, and Luke 10:39. 

Last week we learned that Jehovah is the self-existent, all-sufficient God and we need to get to know him personally.   This week we will continue our discussion of Jehovah and learn how to build a close relationship with Him.  To prepare, read Exodus 33:7-20. 

Last week we learned that if we desire to really know Jehovah, we must ask for Him, seek Him, and spend time in his presence.  This week we will be introduced to Adonai, the Lord and Master.  To prepare, read Genesis 15:1-2, Psalm 50:10-12, and Exodus 4:10-13.

Last week we learned that if we recognize God as Adonai, owner of all things, we must submit to His ownership of us.   This week we will learn how God’s power can make you qualified for the tasks He calls you to do.  To prepare, read Judges 6:11-18, 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, and Luke 6:46. 

Last week we learned that approaching God as Adonai, the owner of all creation, requires obedience and sacrifice.   This week we will discuss Jehovah Nissi, the LORD My Banner, which means God has made Himself evident and available for those who look to Him in times of need.  To prepare read Exodus 17:1-15.

Last week we learned that Jehovah Nissi will fight for you in the battles you are facing.   This week we are introduced to Jehovah Tsaba, the LORD Our Warrior.  To prepare read 1 Samuel 17:4-10 and 45-47.
