Dan Johnson is a long-time resident of Kalkaska MI where Dan served as Pastor of the Kalkaska Church of Christ for more than 28 years.

He has been active in a variety of community organizations and events, including community theater.  In 2015 Dan and his late wife, Sherry, were honored at Kalkaska’s “Citizens of the Year.” Dan was named “Trout King” at the 2017 National Trout Festival.

Dan serves on the Kalkaska hospital board as well as the board of directors for Munson Health Care.  He is a graduate of Northwood University and Great Lakes Christian College.

Recently retired from 40 years church leadership, Dan and his late wife, Sherry, established “Restore Me Ministry” to provide encouragement, prayer and counsel to ministers and their spouses.  He provides a “Haven” at his home where ministers and missionaries can stay at no cost.

Dan has been filling in as visiting minister at Beaver Island Christian Church for several years, especially in the winter months, but he is willing to serve whenever there is an opportunity.
